So as many of you know, I got accepted in the BYU Spain Study Abroad program for Winter semester. I'm gonna try the blogging thing partially to encourage me to record my experiences, partially to inform those who may be interested in my experiences and partially self-indulgence because I am pretty sure I am hilarious and my Facebook statuses are not providing me with a broad enough audience these days.
So here's the deal:
I'm flying into Madrid Spain on January 9th, staying 3 months with a host family, attending the University of Alcala (30 minutes outside of Madrid). I will be with about 15 other students from BYU and two BYU professors, Stan and Jill Knapp, our fearless leaders. Afterward I will be travelling throughout western Europe.
This is getting super real because I bought the tickets on Friday and my passport is in!!!!
I'm freaking out and I'm so excited.
